History
Blue Diagonal Capital was founded in 2016 in Limassol, Cyprus by Lourens de Beer and Demetrios Efstathiou.
The vision of the founders was to create an international financial institution focused on providing investment solutions to investors with an emphasis on emerging markets.
Milestones
July 2017 - Blue Diagonal Capital received its authorisation from CySEC for the management of Alternative Investment Funds with specified investment strategies.
November 2017 - Blue Diagonal Capital launches its first fund, the Blue Diagonal EM Fixed Income Fund, with the aim of delivering positive returns by investing in fixed income instruments (hard currency bonds) issued by borrowers in Emerging Markets.
December 2017 - Blue Diagonal EM Fixed Income Fund receives its first external investors at the end of December 2017. Its performance track record begins.
June 2019 - Blue Diagonal EM Fixed Income Fund is listed at the Cyprus Stock Exchange (non-tradable collective investment schemes market).
June 2019 - The Cyprus Stock Exchange is appointed the Fund's Registrar.
